“I dress a home as I would dress myself. Rooms should be comfortable, layered, mixing old with new, creating a focal point and expressing a cohesive look. It’s that blending of old and new that brings personality to a room. I strive for sophistication, comfort, and harmony in every project."
Andrea Jovine brings over 30 years of design experience in creating beautiful, functional, and balanced residential homes. A graduate of New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), Andrea had her own namesake fashion label at 24. Fashion brought Andrea national recognition where her label was known for its modern, timeless style for the workingwoman.
In 2000, Andrea turned her design philosophy towards interiors, working with high-end clients across the country, applying the same philosophy of glamour and ease that she developed in fashion. Her design principles balance the aesthetic integrity of the project with the needs and personality of the client. She believes the same concepts in fashion apply when designing a room; proportion, scale, color, and function are key. In order to create a successful interior, the process must be well managed, the client’s needs and wishes carefully considered, and the budget respected.
Andrea has created trendsetting table settings for HGTV and has been highlighted in publications including Vogue, Glamour, Harper’s Bazaar, Good Housekeeping, Elle, and Forbes. Crain’s New York referred to Andrea as “something of a phenomenon” when she first appeared in their 40 Under 40 issue. Andrea’s home was featured in an 11-page cover piece spread in Greenwich Magazine.
